Gobble up tacos for a great cause this Thanksgiving! Thursday, November 19th through Wednesday, November 25th, SOL Cocina in Scottsdale will be selling Turkey Mole Tacos for $3 each. One-hundred percent of the proceeds of each of these tacos will go to help support local Scottsdale food bank Vista del Camino.
This seasonal inspired taco is filled with dark turkey meat on a corn tortilla with melted cheese, roasted butternut squash and mole poblano. Topped with dried cranberries, lettuce and pico de gallo salsa—this will be a taco to remember!
Vista del Camino is a partner with Concerned Citizens for Community Health (CCCH). CCCH’s primary focus is to stimulate public awareness and promote the establishment and expansion of health and human services in the community. The organization partners closely with the City of Scottsdale Human Services Division to raise funds to prevent homelessness, increase self-sufficiency and provide basic needs to Scottsdale residents in crisis.
Located at the Scottsdale Quarter, SOL Mexican Cocina’s menu features Executive Chef Deborah Schneider’s bold, modern interpretations of traditional Coastal Mexican cuisine with a focus on fresh, sustainable ingredients. Designed to echo the expansive sea, sky, and desert of the Baja peninsula, SOL features old world charm juxtaposed with an urban comfort. For more information, visit www.solcocina.com.
