One of Arizona’s best adventures is a helicopter ride over Sedona. The thrill of being in a helicopter paired with the breathtaking red rock views is an experience you’ll never forget.
We booked the 15 minute Bear Wallow Tour with Sedona Air Tours. The tour views Sedona’s majestic Red Rocks and explores the immense beauty of Bear Wallow Canyon. The photo above was taken from our helicopter.
We were lucky to get a seat next to the pilot. Getting the shotgun seat is a matter of weight. Everyone is assigned a seat based on weight to maintain an even balance – every seat has a great view!
When you arrive, the staff is very welcoming and they’ll weigh you. If you are nervous about flying, they explain what to expect and are there to help you get on and off the helicopter (they also take a photo of you in front of the helicopter after the tour). The photo above is where you’ll check-in.
If you’re looking to have a drink before or after the helicopter ride, Mesa Grill is steps from Sedona Air Tours. You can have a drink, appetizer or meal while watching planes take off!
Another cool thing about Sedona Air Tour’s location is that you can stop at the Sedona Airport Overlook and take a few great pictures from the ground.
Whether your looking to cross a helicopter ride off your bucket list or want to schedule an adventure for a special occasion, Sedona Air Tours offers an amazing experience! The Bear Wallow Tour is $99 per person and is worth every penny. To learn more or to book your helicopter tour, visit www.SedonaAirTours.com.
